Managing stress does not have to be a big chore, it can be easily managed with simple, things. Often we feel guilty for taking time out during our busy lives to focus on filling our cup back up. But it is important to make this part of your daily routine, especially if you have people who may be dependant on you. It is important that your emotional state is managed as best as you can when going through a family law matter. This helps with being able to better deal  with the highs and lows that are often experienced during this process. Here are a couple of simple self care things you can adopt into your own routine:

✨Write down 3 things you are grateful for. Being grateful helps take our focus of what we haven’t got, and places our focus on what we do have and encourages hopefulness

✨Go for a 30 minute walk on your lunch break. Eat your lunch and then head out of the office to enjoy the sun, or rain, and the fresh air

✨Get up earlier than usual to watch the sunrise. Research has shown that the early morning light has a positive affect on our emotional state which in turn increases our joy and overall happiness

✨Tell 3 people something nice about them that you admire. Speaking positively over other people improves our relationships, builds self esteem and shifts our focus from inwards to outwards

✨Rest

Happy weekend! Whatever you are doing this weekend, enjoy ☺️☀️
